I'm Glad Jeep Addressed the Flaws with Automatic Wranglers in 2012
I'm glad Jeep finally decided to fix a major flub, after 5 years of ill-configured Wranglers for those requiring automatic transmissions. With the new proper gearing, and the much improved shifting of the new 5-speed transmission, automatic owners can now enjoy a much improved Wrangler without having to drive a manual transmission, and without having to sort thru re-gearing, etc. Lets be glad for all the new 2012 automatic owners - they deserve a good product too!

I do like the improved transmission. It's a better match for the Wrangler.
I haven't noticed the 42RLE being the slush box people say it is, though.
I can make it do pretty much what I want it to do.
Contrary to popular belief, the driver can exercise control over the automatic transmission.
