I'm addicted!!

I just paid off over $20,000 in credit card debt and unsecured loans. Be careful what you do with all the CC offers you get. I was takin out loans just to make payments on other ones and basic necessities. It'll work for a while, then you get to the point of bankruptcy. My advice is to pay off what you ordered and save patiently for what you want( I know it's hard ) Or you could mod the hell out of it then file for bankruptcy and agree to keep the note for your jeep. Save about $750 for the lawyer on your CC for a cash withdrawl to pay him before you file Disclaimer- I in no way reccomnd this approach, but...

I'm a miser when it comes to mods, because I keep thinking of other stuff that the money "makes more sense" being spent on... like a downpayment on my next house when the wife and I are ready to sell our condo and move...
Bottom line: They say that the average American has $12,000 in credit card debt. Do you think that they waited to buy something until they had the money, or charged it and never looked back? Don't be TOO impetuous: You don't know what tomorrow will hold, but you can probably guess that it's going to cost you!

IMO, I think all the guys that say to wait of save up for mods are right, and debt is a bad thing. Bottom line is that your going to do what you want and I don't think it matters what we say. I want so many things for my JK but something aways comes up. I'm going to show mine this summer and take pics with me to the shows of my Jeep at Disney, OK rock climbing and muddy and everything...lol. I want a winch, bumpers, lift, gears, and some interior mods like new seats, but in my case I am going to put back $50 or so a week until the day comes that I can mod the crap out of my JK . It sucks when you have a home, family, and a '07 JK, '01 cc dakota with 30 grand in mods and a '06 civic si fully modded. I'll just say from past experince... that the modding NEVER ends.
