If you're going to buy a exhaust system...read this..
I bought a dynomax catback exhaust system for my jeep on the 29th of December for around 270 dollars, checked the site a few days later and they were on sale for about 230 dollars and that's including shipping! Pissed me off...but since it's hard to decide on an exhaust system this should make it a little easier. Now the magnaflow from the same site costs 400 bucks a pop. Something to think about.

This comparison is based on the idea that both the consumer and the retailer have an equal stake in the relationship, which they don't. There are a lot of consumers out there that are all shopping for the best price, and WE PICK retailer based on their price and service. Retailers don't pick their consumers. When a retailer has to compete with other retailers to get business, it is in their best interest to keep their customers happy. Since consumers don't compete with each other to see who a retailer will sell to, we have the upper hand. There are some exceptions to this, like collectable goods, but for the most part the best thing a retailer can do is keep the customer happy, while still turning a profit.
I had a similar situation happen with one of the forum sponsors, Discount Tire Direct, and they went above and beyond to help me out. I'm glad your dealer did the same for you Bubba.

Sounds to me like 4wd.com did the right thing and people should trust that they will be taken care of when dealing with them. I am sure that when you ordered it the person/website that you ordered from did not know that there would be a price adjustment. In the end, it is nice to know that a company has good CS.
