I'd save another $500 and get a good bumper/winch combo installed. I think a winch will get you out of more trouble than any other mod.

Get an inexpensive winch first. There are mods out there where people have cut into the stock bumper and put the winch lower. I went the savings route myself -- don't go in debt for the build-up.

Since you have a rubi. I think instead of going the 2.5BB. I would go the 2.5 or 3" coils spring life from Terra Flex.

THen when your ready again you could do a bumper, then add a winch. There is a guy here in Tucson that does a great bumper. "AZBulldog" he can also build to your specs.

I started with a 2.5bb. Added bumper and winch and found my front springs way compressed. I did the 2.5 coil lift, and now everything is great.

I'll 2nd the above.

If I were in your neck of the woods, then I'd hit up Mitch/AZBulldog and have a new bumper made. Throw a winch in there later, add a small lift, and you'll be on your way.

Absolutely nothing ! ! ! ! ! !

I'm gonna keep on saving and wait to do things how they should be done. I've learned from too many people on this site that I should not do modifications that I will later change to what I really want. Yes, factory tires suck. BB and 32's only make it longer for most to upgrade to a real lift and bigger tires. That's only one example, I've seen many others. Hey..... Don't fall into this trap.... delay gratification a little longer and make it how you really want it. Stop wasting money. You just prolong your suffering.

Then again..... a BB and 33's would make my stock Jeep look better.....

Still have not figured out the 35 vs. 37 debate....

That being said..... I'll still find a way to waste money.

Think I'll buy some better "Grab Handles" to replace the older cheaper ones on my rollbars, while I contemplate how not to waste money.
