I'm pretty sure it came from my Jeep however I'm starting to have second thoughts because I can't figure out where in the hell it goes...

Yes - icrash is correct. It is a rear seatbelt attachment point cover.

I think the shoulder belts have a trim piece like that.

Haha. Mine just fell off too and that is exactly what it is. Rear seatbelt post cover.

I had to buy new ones because they used to pop off every time I took my top off. Haha! Luckily I noticed the bare bolt showing, so I knew to look for the trim piece, otherwise I would have been in the same situation, looking for what it went on.
