I think the engine might have got pushed up from the impact of the axle, he also mentioned if it damaged the control arm mounts on the frame. They may have to install a new frame..

with the extra insurance I carry, He thinks it'll be fixed. At this point. I dont care eitherway. his shops fixed a truck I rolled over, and it was perfect. The Jk will be no different.


well........

if they toss a new frame under it... might be time to remove a few mounts and drop a better setup underneath it...

Glad you all are Ok. Sucks about the Jeep though. I hope your buddy can get it back into brand new shape.

So now that you have a day or so to settle down,, how are you and the wife feeling? By the third day after my head on I thought I was dying,, Just got back to work a couple weeks ago part time/light duty..
Glad you guys are ok.. and my jk was totaled easily(but worse crash) and the pictures were not much worse than yours.. The frame is $$ in the new jeep.. without engine/trans figured in mine was over 21k in damage..

I'm feeling ok, still sore, but i'll get over it... I would be suprised if there isnt frame damage.

Glad to hear you are both OK! Hope everything gets back to the way it was. If you have any questions regarding the process don't hesitate to give me a call.
By the way there are still some pretty cheap homes out here in SoCal!!!!

And yes it has major frame damage. If that rolled through my doors I'm afraid it would not be fixed. However this is California and we charge for things that most states do for free.

Wow I will add my relief to the post as well very happy that you and all are OK
It is sad when the rig we all work on and take in as our "baby" is damaged.. I hope it can be repaired properly for you... I will see you tomorrow at the
Creek.. and may have a seat for you as well..

glad to see ya'll are okay. The jeep can be fixed .. broken bodies not so much.

Glad to hear you still get to go to JK Fest this weekend. I am bummin it at home ... since I can't make it!
