Pig scrape up all your mod reciepts and photos to document all your extras on your rig. You can get paid over and above the total value of your base jeep as long as you can provide documintation....(horrible spelling) Best of luck!

Thumbs down

What a bummer!
I'm glad you are ok.

...Pictures aren't working for me either- I guess I should look on IE- Firefox seems to have a glitch for me now too.

So what is the plan now?
If it is deemed a total, are you getting a new one?

Glad to hear all is ok though, physically.

I'll still be at Jkfest, just Jkless

The wreck occured within the city limits of where I work. The driver was cited. So I dont have issues there. I was about a mile from home..

once the insurance gets the quote for the after market parts, I'm sure it'll be toast. I'll get some better pics today..

Glad everyone is okay.

As for the mod's: Even if you installed those parts yourself, the cost for replacement of your JK should include an installer's services for the mod's. This would give you more money to work with (yet more mod's!), but it might also effect whether the vehicle is considered totaled or not. It could also give you something to negotiate (settle out of court) with the other driver's insurance company: "I won't hold you responsible for XXX hours of installer's cost, but you're paying me XXX for my loss."

I would be willing to bet that is a total. but then again it depends on how much frame damage there is. If they dont total it might time for D44 upgrades if you dont have a D44 already in the front.

My insurance company when I asked about mods said as long as I have the any mods they will be added into the value they pay me. If the vehicle or wheels, etc... are stolen I need to provide a picture and a reciept but that is easy.

I would think you will come out ahead on this one in the mod department as long as that driver is well insured. If not then it will stink.
