I wrecked the JK
I wrecked my Jk tonight.
A young driver decided she had enough time to make a left turn infront of me. She didnt. I didnt have time to stop, nor did I have room to go around. My left corner hit center of the hood. it shoved the engine back in the PT.
her pt cruiser is totalled. I'm not sure about the JK. The looks of the tub, it probley is..

the wife and I are fine, just sore. if it was a stock X, i'd be thrilled. Its a little more built than a ruby. Thats a new 44 with a spytec kit thats trashed..
i'll be happy if I dont get boned on my upgrades.

Oh man that sucks! The important thing is you are both healthy! I think this is a sign that you need to apply for a job (I know where you might find one ) in So Cal and start to rebuild another one here!

Glad to hear that you & your wife are okay. I've been in a serious accident before, and I also lucked out and was just sore. Could have been a lot worse though.
I hope that your insurance company does not hose you.
When I insured, I was very careful to pick up a "Limited Waiver of Depreciation" to deal with the potential headaches that can happen when a vehicle is written off in the first couple years. In essence, you get full purchase price for a new vehicle of the same model instead of the "replacement" price.
