Default I want to buy a hardtop....where?

I really need to buy a hardtop for this coming winter and am looking for the best deal around. I have kept my eye on the 4sale section but no one local is selling and theres almost nothing on ebay or craigs list.
Does anyone know of a good place to buy that is willing to ship? Best price ive found is $1800 + shipping. That price doesnt include wiring.
Or if anyone is looking to sell w/in a few hours of 10940 let me know.

Wish you were closer to florida. I would let you have min for just over 1k.

If I were you I would just hold out and keep hoping you find one on craigslist or eBay, otherwise, like you say, you will be paying out the arse.

I'd recommend widening your scope on ebay or the for sale section... A nice long trip with no top one way and a hard top the other... sounds like the perfect resolution!

This can be a real pita. Luck is involved, and being ready to jump on one if you find it is essential. The last couple years with my previous Jeep I was actively looking for one for my TJ and never did get one, had a couple close calls but these things go really fast when they pop up on the radar. Good luck.

I would consider it, but I wouldn't even know where to begin looking for a way to ship it.

working on figurin shipping. not just for you but to take a realistic look at it and maybe alleviate the fears of a couple guts who are skeered/intimidated by the prospect.

Make sure when you check on shipping, you check all of your local freight companies. UPS and FedEx are pretty much out. I shipped a top with a local freight company (Nebraska) and it was under $200. If you give them the flexibility of when they have a shipment going that way and have extra room, it is best for them and you.

just my .02
