Default I think we're causing neck injuries

School started yesterday at the university and it is so much fun driving by the campus. The students are almost half the total population of Bozeman and most of them leave for the summer. I love their expressions as they stop dead in their tracks staring at us as we go by, or just about wreck their bikes trying to get a look. We just laugh at them, "Dude, close your mouth. You're drooling on yourself."

We've had two crazy things happen to us in the last couple weeks.

We were in the parking lot by a local restaurant and we saw a rescue green 4-door Rubicon. We rolled by real slow to take a look then went on our way. A couple blocks off we're sitting at a light and the same Rubi comes racing up along side us and starts waving. The guy saw us outside the restaurant, jumped up from his meal and chased us down to ask about the work we've done. After we chatted he said, "Well I better get back there, they are waiting on me." He left his family sitting inside so he could chase us down.

Then yesterday my wife was coming back from the campus and watched a guy rear-end someone cause he was too busy checking out our Jeep.

I'm telling you what, this thing is just too much fun. :toung:

That's a great story. I too am a "owner in waitng". I am not sure you have done this already on the forum but could you share some pics so we can see the work as well?

Thanks

I know everyone says this but the wait really is worth it. I waited eight months and once it got here I completely forgot about all the angst and frustration. Hang in there, you're going to love it.

Full Traction 3" Premium lift
ProComp Extreme Wheels
Big O Big Foot XT 35x12.5x17
Shrockworks Rails
Shrockworks Bumper
Warn 9.5ti
Amsteel Blue synthetic winch line
Magnaflow exhaust
AEM intake
Rubicon Unlimited decal (design courtesy of Bmcollier)

On Order: Full Traction HD front coils (hopefully this week, need to level out the stance)

I would also like to add that although I know others have had issues, we do not have a single complaint. We have about 3,500 miles now and we have never stalled, there are no leaks, no squeaks...nothing. It's nothing but fun.

Wife and I was coming home the other day on the Interstate....I was passing a couple of cars, and noticed a car coming up my tail at a pretty good clip, so I gun it some, get past the cars I am passing, and move on over to the right lane.

About the time the car gets up to me on the left....he slows down to where he is passing me at maybe 1-2 MPH faster than me.

Peering over the passenger door was a young boy, who was checking out the Jeep big and bad (couldn't tell if he was drooling or not...but he had the glazed look going).

Gave dad a wave....he smiled, and gave a nod to his kid....think he must have been getting on at an exit, and saw the Jeep, and had raced to catch up so his son could get a closer look.

The kid was still looking back behind from the front seat as they finally pulled ahead.

Haha, I love that look. You can't help but grin at them.

Very Nice! Thanks for sharing the pics. I think I am patience than most because I am still in my Grand Cherokee lease but reading this forum doens't help the waiting process. I have to admit thought at first I wasn't crazy abou the 4dr but it is definitely growing on me and already planning on making my next purchase. A 4dr and 2dr the best of both worlds.

I got a good laugh from the passenger in an air powered low rider. He rolled up to the light, and dropped it. I hit all down on AiROCK, then all up.... Rolled away in all up... His passenger was rolling just from the look on his face...
