..I just want another inch!
Hey everyone,
I currently have a 08 2DR JK with the Mopar 2" Suspension lift with Bilstein Shocks. I'm very content and happy with my lift , but I really just want to go up a little higher. I've thought about the M.O.R.E. 1" body lift, but I really don't like the look or reputation that body lifts have. So I was thinking about putting a 1" coil spring spacer on my front and rear springs. Has anyone ever done that? Anyone know of problems with that idea? Would I need extended brake lines? Think it'll work? Any and all input would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks!

Body lift would be my recommendation. Adding coils spacers does indeed, change many aspects of your suspenstion geometry. Unless your lift came with new coils, You would be essentially stacking spacers which is not recommended. There is a reason they don't make 3" budget boosts. A one inch body lift is hardly noticable, is inexpensive, and relatively easy to install. Good luck with whatever you choose.

As much as I dislike body lifts, in this case I would recommend it over the spacer. A spacer lift on its own is a fine lift but stacking it on a spring lift sounds like a bad idea

That's what she said! Sorry had to do it haha, you should be fine with a 1" spacer but personally I would lean toward to body lift. At only an inch the body lift won't look that bad just make sure that you cover up the ugly gaps! Good luck man
