Default I just bought a new JK... now what?

I recently traded in my 2008 JKU Sahara for a new 2013 JKU Rubicon (last night actually!) and it got me thinking about the things a new owner should do, not do, pay special attention to, or keep an eye out for when breaking in their new Jeep.
When I bought my first JK 5 years ago, I didn't know much about this model of Wrangler and I hadn't yet joined this forum. I'm no expert by far, but I have gained a wealth of knowledge in the past 5 years from building up my previous JK with the help of this forum and its many wonderful members.
So, back to my original point.... I've got a brand new Jeep with 300 miles on it. What are the list of things I should be planning for during the initial "break-in" period (should I change oil after 1000 miles? change diff fluids?) and are there any important issues I should watch out for over, say, the first 10,000 miles? I'm thinking this could range from mechanical, to engine maintenance, to interior features (where's the best place for my cellphone?) to out of the ordinary things only a wrangler owner could tell you. Even a simple "top 10" list might really benefit new and future wrangler owners.

Thanks to all who contribute!
-Mike

Couple good reads...

In terms of oil/fluids, i've now changed all my fluids to synthetic after the break in period.

Tough to answer all your questions, just go slow, take your rubi down a few trails in stock mode to see what its capable of then go from there... Seems like after any off roading trip I do I have a whole new list of stuff to buy/do.

Good luck and don't forget to wave...

This is a good start. I'm not a newb by any means. I was looking more for something like:
1. Check "X" at this interval
2. Consider doing "X" at this mileage
3. Adjust "X" because of "Y" to avoid "Z"

A "real world" collection of input from those that experienced things already... Such as "#7 - change out your stock CA bolts to grade8 kit to avoid these common problems." Check this, change that, watch out for this type stuff... Not tech FAQs.
