Leave it alone it will look broke in!!!!
Not really clean it off, I clean mine after every trip that dirt will ruin seals and all kinds of things.

Lots of clay here and it takes longer to clean the Jeep most of the time than it did to get it dirty.

Bugs me when mud is so caked on the wheels they they are out of balance. I never get it all off on the first try.

get the sand and dried mud out of the brakes and from around the diffs if you don't do anything else. the grit is killer on seals, bearings, and brake pads. guess how i know

try a lawn sprinkler. the older type that sprays across and moves back and forth not the kind that spins. leave it on overnight. is not perfect but makes it easier on you.

That sprinkler idea sounds really good. It can't hurt, probably will work if left over night, and requires no real work. Me likey.

A buddy of mine sprays down the entire engine compartment with WD40 after he washes it down...after each trip wheeling! I always wash my Jeep...especially underneath...am amazed at what comes out of there and how much!
