I admit it, I bought a 2WD

Hi,
Whatever you do, don't apologize for buying a 2WD to anyone. It's your money, you can buy whatever you want. There's nothing wrong with a 2WD Jeep. It still looks awesome, and if you don't offroad or see extreme weather then who cares??
Congratulations and enjoy it!

wow no flames!
Wow I stayed away from the thread for a day afraid it was full of flames but you guys took it pretty well. For those who wanted pix of this monster, I'll get some tomorrow if I can. I've been happy so far, though I'm still getting used to the stick with 3.73 ratio -- 3rd gear and up seems quite peppy but those first two are kind of a bear, in my 5-speed truck I could start in 2nd with any kind of roll at all, but here I have to start in 1st and I feel like I have to ride the clutch a little with a lot of gas to get it going smoothly. I've hardly touched 6th -- 5th gets me to 65 at not much over 2000 rpm and traffic's so clogged around here I don't do much barreling along at higher speeds. But it's zippier on the highway than I expected, I'm not getting dusted by minivans like the reviewers in that one mag, I forget which one.
