That's the kind of info I was looking for.
I always thought it blew hotter than other cars I've had. Wasn't sure if it was my imagination or not.
Thanks to all for the feedback.

yeah, it is the best heater I've ever had in a vehicle. If I leave it selected to the front vents for awhile, the area where the temp. controls are gets hot to the touch, and a cooling fan comes on in the stereo.

The carpet is out of mine: feet freeze in the rear seats and roast in the front. Just spent a month in northern Ontario (was often -25). For the return trip, my wife rode in the back: I bought a sleeping pad and cut it up to insulate the floor and the wheel wells (they get COLD) and she sat on a 12v seat pad and under a 12v blanket. Oh yeah... she bought electric socks, too
I'm hoping it'll be better next year with the tub bedlined.
The front seats get WAY too hot to have the heater blasting! At one point I considered installing 12v fans under the front seats to pump heat into the freezing rear seat area, or to find some hoses to hook to the dash outlets and run them to the back.
Just one more Jeep thing I guess.

at 1 degree the other day took about 10 minutes for the jeep to warm up but then it was burn your finger tips off hot. I cant have it pointed at my hands to long or they actually start to hurt. good heater defroster is alright. rear defrost in the window works like a champ
