I have a very limited budget for additions/modifications. Here's my delima:

I don't get to go off road much because there's no one local to go with. (I have a good place to go withing 2 miles of the house) I need a winch so I'll be comfortable going by myself. Thus, the delima.

• Should I go for the Warn M8000 or the Ramsey 8.5 for around $560?
• Should I go with the Smittybuilt for $300 and get the quick disconnects and/or 2" BB?

The Warn and Ramsey have a "Limited Lifetime Warranty" and the Smittybuilt only has a "2 Year Warranty". I plan on keeping my JK until they burry me with it in a mud hole somewhere.

Any input would help me out.

The nice thing about the winch as a mod is that it can come with you if you ever did change Jeeps. Personally I would stick to companies such as Warn or Ramsey.
