Yeah I like to get a tuffybox or something for mine to lock it in when I have to leave it in the jeep

I don't have a photo from my Jeep, but, you get the idea.
Is that a modified thigh rig? I like this setup.

For home defense I have a Taurus Judge that sleeps beside me on my nightstand. My carry is a Ruger LCP .380. Its small and fits perfect in the back pocket of my Wranglers. When I get in the Jeep, most of the time I set it next to me in the passenger seat. When I get out I just slip it back into my pocket. I've thought about dreaming up something cool as a holster in my rig but then would probably end up leaving in there as I'm in and out of it. I do like the under steering wheel mount though

Figured I'd bring this back up. Bummed that the Tuffy under seat conceal drawer won't work on the 2012s. Looks like the console insert will be the best option.

Any other thoughts?

The Tuffy 247-01 works just fine under the driver seat in my 2012. It was my first mod.

Sorry. I should have clarified. They supposedly don't work on 2012 2-doors. I presume you have a JKU?
