Why you all think that I'm BSing you guys?
You have no idea how depressed I was after that date, I REALLY liked that guy...
there are many great guys in Winnipeg that just don't dig the Jeep thing, here most that do are elder guys (+40), but I'm ~25!

Have you gone on any of the local wheeling trips? There are plenty of younger guys that are totally into jeeps. Runs get posted in the western Canada thread if you happen to want to go on one of the runs.

I was dating this one girl for about 3 months, she started to say something about how I should trade in my jeep for something like a prius so I can save up to provide a good life for my kids in the future....needless to say she got dumped later that night. I'm 25 with no kids and I have a respectable job. And when I do have kids they will be just fine living in a nice house in the country, playing outdoors and learning to drive once they can see over the steering wheel of my wrangler thank you very much.

My old man always said, a girl should be wary of a man who can't work on cars, can't hunt or field dress an animal, or runs away from getting his hands dirty.
And if he was that great of a guy, you would take the time to make him understand the jeep thing.
Compromise and understanding will always be the high road.

I met my wife because of my Jeep. Of course this was in 1989...I'm one of those elder dudes at 46 (whatever...).
I had a black YJ with a lot of chrome (shut up people, it was cool then just like your mullet was...). She asked me when I was going to take her for a ride in it. I did and 21 years later (and 5 Jeeps later) we're still together and happy as clams!
Stay the path, you're right guy will show up soon.
