Default How To Remove Bolts for Side step /Rail

i just unscrewed the bolts for the side step.
I noticed there is ~1/2" on thread on the end of the bolt...
Im not able to completely remove the bolt from the frame...
its as if its on a pivot or something....

when i took mine off, there was a clip on the frame, but can't see how it would spin and not come off...sorry, no help here at all!

Those bolts have blue loctite from factory, so after you unscrew it you have to pry it out. It's the ring of loctite preventing it from coming out.

k i had a feeling lol i didnt want to pull out the pry bar until i was sure lol.... soo the bolt it actually threaded at the tip and the end ... right...

Yes the one with the big flat washer. Not sure what you mean by thread on the tip and the end. But if i remember correctly the tip was tapered.
