My daily drive is less than 10 miles in town. It makes more sense than my 8-ft bed quad cab Dodge Cummins 2500. Easier to park and "zip" around. On the other hand, the mileage is about the same, and when I drive the truck I think, damn, this thing is nice.

Oh, I'm 46.

34 years old and it's a daily driver. 2dr X

We fight over who gets to drive it. I haven't had fun like this since I got rid of my 69 Mustang.

Post age gaps

I just turned 21 and am graduating college next year ('11).. my dad had a 85 CJ-7 laredo, so my new 2010 sahara unlim is kind of his way to get back into the jeep scene along w/ me..he sold the CJ for the dining room furniture when my mom and him got married in '86 ..haha but its a good father/son thing i guess you could say..its an easy thing to bridge generations with..cars in general, we worked on my mustang I had before this jeep alot together too.

38 soon and it is my first. A 4 door. I love it. They were always too expensive to buy when I was younger or I would've had one sooner.

It's my dailiy driver. It replaced 2 cars, my trail rig a 67 Bronco and my prior DD an 05 Escape. While mileage is about the same as the Tahoe I used to have, this is more fun to drive. I drive a 2007 Sahara unlimited.

Age 40 and my JK is a DD. I can relate to the wife comment. I have a good friend with a stock JK. We are about the same age and he is a suit and tie guy. His wife does not want him to mod it (incl lift and tires) because people may think he is acting juvenile or trying to bring back his high school days. As for me on the other hand, my wife realized such comments only make me want to mod the Jeep even more so I havent heard them in quite some time.... :-)
