I'm 36 and just bought my first Wrangler as a DD for my wife and we love. Honestly with the cost of customizing nowadays I don't its a young mans game anymore.

24....2012 JKU Sport. Most guys I see with JKs are either 35+ or are funded by their rich ass parents.

One of my best friends for 10+ years since junior high....he got a JKU about 3-6 months after I did. We both have pretty decent jobs for our ages.

I agree with the cost of customization being high, and even just payments on a new JK costing about $30k give or take....the JK world is mainly an older man's game. People with more established jobs and higher rank in their companies...I have yet to meet anyone else my age who really pays for all their own stuff besides my one friend.

Sometimes it sucks because I see all these super awesome JKs....but I am very happy with mine and have learned to be patient with saving money towards the parts I really want and do not make any compromises. If I can't get what I want, I don't get anything. I save and wait.

Had mine a year now.

I'm 47 now bought my 2015 Willys in June. Absolutely love it. Will wait on serious mods till some of the warranty is off. With that doing what I can now. Tuffy security box, ordering new decals, Bought soft top, looking at 285/70/17 duratrac's, and other misc. stuff.

Get yourself a dog (if you don't already have one) and watch the ladies get in line. And enjoy it while you can.

I'm not ripping on you. I actually see posts like this more often than I would have expected. But what would make a person go through 3 Jeeps in 2 years? Were you just unsure of what you were looking for? Or just trying them all out? Or do you kill them?

I just turned 38 back in September, my JKU is a DD and my wife and kids love it as much as I do! When my oldest turns 16, she will inherit my current Jeep and I will buy another.
