Can a JK be comfortable enough to be a daily Driver?

Does JKs appeal to all ages?

How old are you and which JK do you drive?

Thanks
I'm 23 but plan on having a jeep until I'm 99.

48. "New" 2008 JK is an extra vehicle for us. Sort of a part time DD, future vehicle for my boys, multi-year project for me.....whichever happens in whatever order.

I'm an old wrench and always have something to play with. For the past few years it's been my Honda VTX 1800. Over the years there's been a Corvette, a Chevelle, a couple of Baja Bugs, a few motorcycles, a couple of 4x4's (domestic and metric), along with more run-of-the-mill DDs. So I guess this is the most recent toy. And it's my first Jeep.

It's mostly stock right now, which is the way I wanted to buy it. Now I get to work on putting away some extra money so I can buy new goodies to play with on the Jeep.

With my motorcycle, the wife has asked me whether I like to wrench on it, or ride it, better. I told her I would have to get back to her on that. It'll be the same way with this over the next couple years.

I would venture to say that most kids can't afford a Wrangler cause they're rather expensive. At least the JK's anyway.

Most of the people I've seen driving them are probably late 20's +. I would say very few in their 20's at that. I'm 33 and have my first ever Jeep. My girl is also 33, and she is now speaking of getting one for herself. At least test driving a couple comparable off road suv's and some JK model Jeeps. See what she likes best. She's already picked out a name and color for her Jeep though so I have a good idea what she might end up getting. It's already being personalized in her own mind.

I say a Jeep is such a diverse vehicle though. It's great for most uses and wheeling. It appeals to all age groups. Female grocery getters and wheelers alike. Mine is a daily driver and I love it. I've ridden in more comfortable SUV's but I don't mind giving up a slightly smoother ride for better off road characteristics and a more rugged vehicle. Not to mention I can go topless and doorless while everyone else wishes they could do the same. :P

I bought my first brand new when I was 19. A 2004 x edition. No help from anyone and got my own loan. Then next year I traded it in and got brand new 2005 rubicon unlimited. Again by myself. So can a teen or early 20's person do it? Yes. Just gotta bust your ass and grind

Im 24yo and the military and 2 deployments paid for mine.

I don't see how young kids do it. When I was 16, my parents financed my first truck. Which was $12k. I paid the monthly note and insurance. It was fairly cheep d it was still hard to afford it. I plaid sports and worked for min. wage.

I'm 19 and just bought my first jeep Jk. I love it. There is a sense of freedom with it that I like. I now understand what it means when people say it's a jeep thing.
