I'm 26 but I think the stereotype is shifting from what your wife thinks to the older generation buying new wranglers. The 3 other people I personally know are guys in their 40's with kids. Most of the people around here fit that mold too. With the economy as it is most kids in their teens and twentys can't afford the price tag on a jk.

In February I will have had my Sahara JKU for five years. Put a decade in behind the wheel of a YJ before that. JK's are for all ages

Just turned 21 on the 8th had a 2010 2dr rubicon since the 2nd. First jeep ever!! Love it already!

 

30, 2nd Wrangler. I have loved Jeeps since I was a kid when my dad built his Cherokees to "crawl up walls" (his words). What I have found is my friends (male and female) who have never had an interest in a Jeep hate my Jeep. They have told me everything from "it's the worst vehicle for the money to I won't sit in the back it sucks". I'm also a girl so I think it's even harder for my friends who drive Audis to be seen in my Jeep (even though this one is brand new).
