These deals must be extremely regional. Here in SoCal, when I tried to negotiate far below invoice, I was shown the door at multiple dealers. I ended up just using the affiliate discount through my work for 1% below invoice. Anything less than that was impossible out here.

Just sent an email with my deposit information to Rick Hendrick Jeep Charleston, SC (West Ashley). I will let you guys know how the build process goes in the "2013 Have You Ordered One?" thread.

Thanks for everyone's input, and I really hope the numbers that I posted are helpful. I agree that 5% - 7% for and ordered build is totally doable; at least in South Carolina.

Got my 2013 rubi unlimited 3 days ago. Every option, besides remote start, body color fender flares and hardtop. Got the Dual top, but not the 4.11 ratio.
Paid 38 500. Bought from CA Superstore, Van Nuys. Will never buy there again. Not because of the price, but for them being extremely dishonest.

I really want to buy the 2013 model but 30k is too much for me. I think I will have to wait few more months for it.

I've also been looking at getting into a 2013. I plan on pulling the trigger in the last spring time. Its my 1st retirement present to myself..... lol I'm thinking it will be in the high 40s by the time i'm done. I will have the dealer here put some of the upgrades on from the start but will save a few things for me and my son to do. I may get beat up for this next comment but I'm going to make it anyway.... I've waited for several years for FORD to come out with a new Bronco but they have failed to do so. I have a 69 that I'm going to let go for a new JEEP. I hope I don't regret it.

Plans for a 2013 Rubi with 4in BDS lift lft fenders and 37in tires. Some body armour a few other upgrades and some more wheeling friends.

Keep in mind the deals will get better as we approach the end of the year.

I was able to to get 6% below invoice at the end of December last year when I was looking at a Sahara on the lot.

However, I ordered a Sahara a month ago (it came in today), and I got 3.78% below invoice. I didn't ask for more.

Thats not true I got roughly 5% below invoice just by going through the fleet guy at the dealership I was working with.

I live here in SoCal and got almost 4% under invoice on a JKUR.

Just picked up a 2013 JKUR black with every option! I love it! Paid 40k. Probably too much but you only live once. It's so much more powerful than my old 2010.... Has anyone put 35's on the stock 2013 wheels?
