I just got my '13 2dr Sport. Sticker on mine was $25,005. Invoice was $24,244 according to my credit union so the dealership only made $761 off of me. I brought my own financing though.
Easy. I found the jeep i wanted, told them where to get it. He asked me what i wanted to pay. I told him $22k. He went to work on it, came back and said they would do it. I had my own financing too. They couldnt touch 1.9%

I worked 3.795% below invoice with my affiliate pricing with no other charges or fees.

MSRP = $38,285
Invoice = $35,910 (that includes $18 for gas)
My price = $34,585

This was all before any talk of trade-in's.

Percentage below invoice means nothing if you get hosed on your trade-in.....keep that in mind.

Got my dealer to match CarMax....so that gave me some tax savings.

Also got them to eat the taxes on the AR pricing rebate and not charge tax on the $500 direct mailer rebate.

Good point on trade. Dont do it. I will have two jeeps before i trade one in. My 12 rubi was $38590, inv $36,111, paid $33,611. My 13 jk was $24,780, inv was $24,042, paid $22,000. We have a $300 flat tax cap in SC so its easy to figure in, waived doc fee on both sales.

Did you buy from Rick Hendrick West Ashley, North Charleston, or Hoover?

I am negotiating with Hendrick, so far at 4% below Invoice (plus I joined Tread Lightly, which I will spring at the final agreement for 5% BELOW INVOICE)
