There is no reason for it to cost more than a jk but it would never meet safety regs. having said that there is no reason that the existing jk could not be made as a pick up on the unlimited, get rid of the back doors make a flat bed and put that black soft top on it. should even be lighter and cheaper than the unlimited. I would certainly get one but i have no interest in the 4 dr jeep.

It really is the same design as the unlimited and I would think cost should only be at a slight premium if they were factory built and sold on the same lots as other Jeeps.

I would love the extra space for haulin stuff around that is for sure.

It should cost no more than the other JKs. Maybe a couple grand more to run it as a special edition like the Willys special edition TJ or the Tomb Raider TJ.

There would surely be a premium for the axels. probably in the order of 8-10K. premium for the diesel 5-8K maybe a small deletion in price for the pickup/leaf springs. but probably not. I would expect them to sticker at 45-48K. That would be a bit much for me to turn into a trail rig.

I don't care for a diesel so they could keep it anyway. If they make a 2dr long wheelbase with the hemi (like an LJ) I will be the first person in line with cash in hand.
