I have the 2008 lifetime warranty still in tact and I've still spent over $8,000 on maintenance and replacing broken parts since I bought it new in 2008. That doesn't include upgraded bumpers, wheels, etc.. It still runs great but not cheap to own.

That should give some perspective...
