I bought my 17" oem Jeep wheels with tpms, but no tires (picked them up for my snow tires) 4 for 125 on craigslist....guy only wanted 100 but he was hunting and his wife pulled them out of the shed for me so I threw her an extra 25 for dinner for her trouble and not making me wait and have someone else come and scoop them up before I could...either way I think I got a great deal!

IMO, 5 almost new 17" Sport S wheels and tires, with TPMS, are worth around $400 to $500 max.
That's what I paid a couple of months ago.
Likewise, the 18" Saharas.
Rubicons = $650 t0 $750.
When I was shopping, for mine, I saw plenty of sellers asking more; but, I wonder how many of them sold?
IMO, if someone is going to spend $1,000+, they should buy aftermarket/custom.

I was able to sell the '12 Rubicon wheels with less than 100 miles on them for 1100 with TPMS. I am not sure why people in need of new tires would not jump on these deals. The Rubicon tires retail for @ $270 USD according to Quadratec while the Rims are @ $230.
After seeing the range of what people were getting I wanted to get rid of my wheel set before they had some miles on them. New set of Pintlers and 35" KM2s ended up running @ $2700 - with the 1100 I thought it was a great upgrade for the price.

My brother manages a company that sells/installs/services car lifts and stumbled across a set of 4 brand new rubi take-off wheels w/TPMS and stock BFG MT T/A KM's at the local stealership's bone pile in their backroom. He picked them up for $500 for me. I swapped the BFG's onto my X's Moabs (the finish on the rubi Moab wheel is slightly more chrome than the wheel on my X and I didn't have the 5th wheel for the spare to match). I turned around and sold the 4 rubi Moabs and my used SRA's with about 23k on them plus my unused spare SRA for $700 to a local via craigslist that had a sport with the cookie cutters. So in the end I got 4 free tires and made $200 to boot! Edit...i used the $200 plus a little to buy the 5th BFG for my spare from tirerack.com. I think I did ok on this deal.
