I'm about to sell my stock 17" rims and tires.
When you sold yours:
1. How many miles did they have on them
2. How much did they go for
3. How long did it take you to sell them
** Plus, if you sold the rims and tires separately, please note how much for each.
I'm thinking I would sell the rims separately, but not the tires. I'd probably get stuck with the rims if I did that.

I'm not that generous.
If I wasn't going to sell them, I'd just keep them in case mine get stolen or destroyed.
I actually destroyed 3 of 4 rims once doing something stupid -- Was trying to pass my friend in a mall parking lot and did see the walk way... It was good that I hadn't sold the stock rims and tires. That was 20+ years ago though...

2010 $800 for 5 Rubicon wheels/ tires with less than 5,000 miles on them.
Bought another set for $750 for 5 Rubicon tires/wheels that had less than 300 miles on them. Sold them for $1K.

Did you sell them to an individual, through an ad, through this forum, or to a tire shop? Whats the best way to go about it? As soon as my 2012 comes in I'm going to put 33's on and try to sell the stockers.

I just sold mine for $600.00 on Craigslist with about 1500 miles on them. Had originally posted for 750 OBO but got no intrest at all. You should be able to get between 6 and 700 for them if you are willing to sit on them for a while. I never thought about trying to sell back to the dealer though.. might be worth a shot.
