Just got my Jeep back from the dealer with a new cylinder head...hopefully it is smooth sailing going forward!

The dealer was great in how they dealt with the issue...even got me the Jeep back a day ahead of when they promised!

Hopefully these motors will last in the long run.. I'm talking about at least 200k..

Just passed 3600 on my 12 JKU and she is purring like a kitten. Crazy to feel the difference from my old TJ.

Bit over 15k on my 12, so far so good....no issues (knock on wood) JK is quite a few worlds away from both my TJs......:wink:

25,000 KMS, All is good bumper to bumper. My daily driver and weekend warrior. Taking a beating and still no " ticking". Despite the horror stories i have read on this forum regarding the Pentastar. Even after going to 33's with the 3:21 gears, this engine has impressed me.

25,000 on my 2012 Rubicon. No problems yet.

I stopped in at the dealership Tuesday to try to nail down what was going on. The reason they can't tell me what happened is Chrysler told them not to breakdown the engine. They want to do it to see what broke.

The dealer has the new motor but it was sent in pieces so it is waiting for the one engine tech to finish the car he is on, build it and install. Probably early next week I'll finally have her back. 6 1/2 weeks since she went down. Most of my relationships lasted less than that.

My 2012 JKU Rubicon has 8000 miles and is a year old. It started ticking at 6000. I dropped it off Tuesday to have the cylinder head replaced. I should be picking it up today.

That is good turnaround. Wish you the best with the new head.

Almost 8000 on my 2012 2door sport s. no problems. Much more power than my dads old 09 4door
