Just had my 2012 throw the P0306 code at 29000 miles. Took it in to the dealer where they told me it would require a head replacement. Good news was they happened to have a head in stock. Called the next day to see when it would be ready. I was informed that in addition to the head replacement it would require a new block which will need to be ordered. Hopefully it will be ready the end of next week.

Have a 12 sport auto that is decently modded on 33s. Have and exhaust and lift all that good stuff.. When I start it it makes a loud ticking noise from the passenger side. It super loud at start then quiets down. Any ideas? Owned it since 9/11 and has 15k miles on it. Sound seems to be getting worse. Help me out guys!!

Just shy of 23,000 check engine lights been going off and on for a month. Brought her to the shop Friday morning and it needs cylinder head replacement they say it should be fixed by Wednesday. You'd think since this is an issue Chrysler/dodge created they'd provide us with a loaner car. Also my build date was feb 2012, thought I was safe since it wasn't one of the earlier builds.

I just rolled 60K on my 2008 JK. I waited a year to let Jeep work out the kinks and then jumped in. Only issues have been first slipping out of gear which was repaired under warranty -- after taking it in for service two times and then complaining to the service manager and owner of my "five-star" dealership. Six months ago I replaced the TIPM for about $600. after my JK blew the horn and set off the wipers on her own whenever she wanted. That is it; been so good I am considering buying my 18 year old son one of his own...so he can stop asking for the keys.
