Last night I received a recall notice about the linkage at the trans. No parts to fix I yet...but will be notified when available.

I bought my Jeep in 2011, two weeks before the '12 Pentastar came out. I don't regret buying the 3.8. I have driven two of my friends Pentastar Wranglers and they are undoubtedly more powerful. One of my friend's Sahara sounds like a 6.0 Powerstroke.

857 and no problems. Is the USB port on the NAV supposed to play music from an iphone? Because as of right now it only charges my wifes phone about half the time.

Just about to hit 39k on mine. Had the infamous cylinder head issue around 35k. If your Jeep was manufactured in the summer of 2011 and you haven't had a cylinder misfire yet, don't assume you're in the clear. It's most likely going to happen soon.
