The more I add... the worse my MPG gets...

I was getting a solid 16, mostly freeway driving. I see a lot of chip entries... gonna go research if I can get one for the '11 JK Rubi. I'm rollin in.

Mine is stock with 3:73 gears and six speed manual. One thing I have noticed is how the different tops effect gas mileage. With the soft top, I average 19 to 20 highway, with the hard top, usually get around 22 highway. Have no idea how it does topless, have not taken too many trips with no top. Don't think the fam is appreciative of all the great things my Jeep can do as much as I am.

Did a test on a 120 mile trip with the jeep computers. Both manual. Sport had 3.73s and both had stock tires. We set cruise control and drove the same route.

20.1 JKU Rubicon soft top
23.9 JKU Sport soft top

The 4.10s hurt the rubi at 65+ mph for sure.

I average about 23 on the highway and 17.7 around town in the first 200 miles. I can't wait until it's actually broken in.

I don't know what all you Americans are crying about with gas prices. Up here in Canada, it's about 4.92 a gallon. Ya, really. Last night when I drove to where I'm staying (about 900km) I was up around 18 mpg. This is also with a 4 inch lift and 35's though so I thought it was pretty good. O, I also have a company gas card so I haven't paid for gas in 2.5 months muahahaha.
