Mines still stock,, but I get 300-350 on a tank,, and its the 2dr,, 15-16 gallons on fillup.. If I drive her hard on the highway,, you know running late for work I drop down to the 280 range.. but thats 90mph or better.. and I dont like to do that.. I get the best milage running back country highways,, I can pull 24mpg doing 60-70mph..easy hills no mountains or high speed and no high winds,, high winds on my JK ruin the MPG big time,, I drove home the other day 60 miles in 40 mph headwinds,, took 3/4 tank to get home..
And strangely in 4wd it gets ok mpg too.. driving in a storm a few weeks ago.. I drove 60+ miles in 4wd 8" snow packed roads very gently steady 40mph.. and used almost no fuel.. very dependent on the skinny pedal input,, gears will make your ride better unless you go overkill with the gears looking for ultimate power.. Stay in the middle of the road pwer vs. economy gear wise.. and you get both,, one way you get no power and the other way no economy..
Sombody had a good chart on power/eco range a while back..

maybe thats why yours seems so bad... you think? Mine was significantly different before and after the tire switch. And I went from 29's to 32's; not sure what you started out on.

well after going through 2 tanks of gas with the new 35's I have gone from roughly 15-16 mpg to 14-15 mpg. Not that bad of a hit. The tires are a little over inflated so when I drop the pressure I wonder if it will get better or worse?

ntxjk I think you might not be getting as bad mpg as you think. You should get your speedo re-calibrated and see what happens

i have 31's with 3:21 gears im getting about 256-280 range. i ride her until she is about to stall. has happened a few times too. my driveway is on an incline. i had to a few times put her in neutral coast down the hill to flat ground and she starts right up.

i get my moneys worth out of that tank

Mine is a stock 4 door with the 3.21's. Usually I can go 375-410 miles on a full tank. The best I've done is about 420 miles.
