That's what I thought.
even though it had a rod knock, it ran pretty good!

the wires seemed to be ok, just old as hell.
the plugs on the other hand, a few of them didn't have much of an electrode left.
They looked like they had 170k on them.

296K on my '07. Been well-used in that time too ...

Default Valve seat popped loose at 206,637 miles

Old Whiskey River finally had major failure at 206k. A valve seat popped out and wouldn't allow the intake valve to close, also gouged the #2 piston face and chattered around enough that it ruined the head. This truck has been incredibly strong. I'm fixing the piston, adding two new heads, zipping her up and hoping for the best.
