ACE DOOR HANGERS - Am I doing this wrong or do the Ace Door hangers NOT allow the door to be pushed parallel to the wall? I just tried to put mine up and tested before I did any drilling into the wall and it seems to me the door sticks out and can't be pushed flat against the wall. If I am correct, this is important to mention to anyone considering buying these. The DIY door hanger at least allows the doors to be stored flat against the wall (important if you're short on space like me).
UPDATE: So I realized I was trying to put them with the inside of the door flat against the wall and they need to go with the paint side (outside) of the door against the wall, which still does not make a ton of sense to me since the mirror forces them to stick out from the wall. I really wanted to store my doors flat against the wall, so I am trying to figure out what to do now. Call it a loss and return them minus shipping charges and go with the $10 diy door hanger or use these. I am very limited for space otherwise these would be awesome for me. oh well - let me go get some cheese with my whine!

built this (copied some 169 dollar version that you can buy)....friend of mine came up w/ the idea to make it FOLD....so it can be stored flat (when doors arent on it) or it can TRAVEL with us in the back of the jeep or under our motorcoach.
it can be placed on a furniture dolly (20 bucks) and wheeled around or it can be placed FLAT on the ground !
