ICBC is the scum of the earth.

I'm in a similar situation, 20 years old, pretty new vehicle, one at fault accident, a few speeding tickets...i'm pretty much screwed. Though my insurance here in ontario isn't that much better, i'm paying 305/month out here.

Paid $600 to have it shipped from Virginia to Oklahoma and had it the next weekend. But, the best part is, is that my dad said if I graduated with a 3.5 or higher he would pay it off for me, I did, so I only paid one payment of $600 and then he called it even.

Now all I pay is $450 a month in insurance, which he pays as long as I keep a 3.0 or better in college.

And if I get a 3.5 gpa for the year my mom will basically buy me anything I want for my birthday in June. I love my parents, no way I could afford all this stuff without them .
Great story.
You have a great thing going, I hope your parents know you appreciate them!

And all you have to do is keep your nose in the books.

I outlined my plan on page 2, post 15. Since you guys have been including insurance, I'll add in mine: Full coverage on the JK and a VW Golf TDI comes to $2.44 per day, total.

That's why I bought a base model 2010 Sport 4x4 and built it up with tires, wheels, suspension, bumpers, etc. You can build a total MONSTER of a Jeep for thousands less than a Rubicon. I can't justify the price of a Rubicon and would rather pick my own options than let the dealer pick them for me. Plus the new 2010s come standard now with many options that were previously only standard on the Rubicon and Sahara.
