I baby it and shift between 1500-1700. Really shows in that I get on average for daily driving 21mpg per tank and that's with a lift a several hundred pounds of added stuff. Only time I go higher is when I'm towing or the situation requires me to accelerate faster.

Like I stole it!! Think F1 from the front of the line at a stop light, driving manual really makes it fun... BUT, I maintain it like its an F1 car too...

3000 RPMish is a good rule of thumb and what I try and stay under but you'll get better mileage closer to 2000 RPM. I babied her the first 1000 miles, then kept it under 2500 RPM for the next 1500 miles, then under 3000 RPM until I hit closer to 5000 miles. Now that she is broke in she's seen closer to 4000 RPM to pass occasionaly, etc but I try to keep it under 3000. I do tend to floor it going up between gears around town up to 3000 RPM. I'm getting 16MPG on average.

This one got me laughing, I also own a SI, but I've never rev'd the Jeep up to 8200 rpm. I've never even redlined it. I'll rev it up to 4000 rpm sometimes to get on the highway, or on steep mountain passes. However if the on-ramp is not steep I rarely get over 3000 rpm.

mine gets babied. Usually stay in eco mode at all times. Which depending on weather and wind conditions means 60-65 on the interstate. I Get roughly 14.5-15 mixed driving with 4"s and 35 nitto mud grapplers with 3.73 grears.

Mainly do it on sound. Never shift based on rpm. But usually it's around 2000s if I have passengers on board. Go higher if I'm naked and by myself.

I cruise mine on the highway at 3000 rpm's. We play around redline from time to time, the supercharger helps get it there pretty quick.

Got to give her hell every now and then!!! Like others have said I like to clean her out, but for the most part I try to conserve fuel.

x2 that nails it for me. I drive light on road, conserving gas and engine wear, but every time I drive it make sure to rev it out quite a bit for a short time just to keep everything clean and open. I save the inconsistent reving for off road. My grandpa use to over baby all his cars, lugging them everywhere thinking he was helping them, they all had serious fuel issues and ran absolutely horrible.
