how big of a trailer can you pull with the jk?

I pulled a fully loaded 5x8 enclosed 4600km with no issues. It was slow over mountain passes but fine otherwise. Handled like there was nothing on the back.

i pull a 23 foot wake boarding boat with tandem axle trailer and 50 gallons of fuel in it just fine. boat is 3600 lbs, add trailer and 50 gallons of fuel and its easily around 4300lbs.

Good call, forgot to mention that your mpg's will drop about 40% when pulling if you you have any hills or head winds.

for exapmple, with this set up, I was getting about 11mpg's, normally I get around 20mpg's, granted I'm also hauling 2 16' canoe's but that was over mostly flat Interstate.
