Hornblaster Train Horns - anyone have one?
I got the mod itch, common to the everyday jeeper...
Anywho... who's got one? I was on their site today, and right on the main page they have the good, better, best models. I said wow, one for $250. Was pretty much sold until I found out from their very own sales Rep that the "caboose" model sounds more like a semi-truck horn and not a locomotive. The next step up and that sounds like a true train horn is the "Shocker Classic or XL" but its $480, didn't wanna spend that much.
So, what suggestions or direction can you guys give or tell me?

Yea? That's cool.... you happen to know how many actual horns they have? 2, 3, 4? They have a compressor and tank or just run off a compressor?

I have kleinn horns on both my jk and my dually. On the jk I have two smaller horns an it sounds more like a semi. But the horns were only 100 bucks. On the dually I have 3 larger chrome horns that are very loud and I think the kit with compressor and tank was around 350. Sounds just like a train

Yea, I need a kit thats versatile so I can mount in different locations, etc. I know people mount behind the radiator, might take that route. The horns are a different story.

I just installed my Shocker XL Train Horns this past weekend.
They run off of my current Viair Constant Duty Kit. I have them wired into my stock horn switch (steering wheel) but a switch above the air gauge on the dash that will toggle between stock horn and air horns.
They are loud!!!

Just to add to the "loudness".
These things aren't just loud, when they say the loudest available kits. They're not kidding.
I've seen my fair share of installed "air horns" or "train horns" on vehicles and nothing comes close to these. Go big or go home, right?
