Is anyone else with the 4 door having hinge paint problems?? My back door hinges are losing all the paint... I guess I would expect a chip or two but the paint is coming off in large chunks....I don't think this should be normal....just flaking away?? Anyone else experience this? I can poct a picture later...I am going to call the dealer today and see what he says...

2000 miles and about a month and a half old. No, I haven't seen that yet. The paint on my JK is flawless.

Unfortunately, mine doesn't have enough paint on the hinges to flake off!

The dealership has already taken pictures and they are trying to figure the best course (I don't want to give up our baby unless they can fix everything).

Maybe the jets were getting clogged when mine was run through and they had just cleaned them for yours!

"only" one of my hinges has a problem. I've had my JK for 2.5 weeks and I've got a rusty hinge. Dealer is going to fix, or attempt to fix, at my first oil change.

Yup, pick up the paint chips when you lose them, take them back to the dealer and they will happily exchange them for new paint chips.

Well... I knocked a paint chip off of one of the driver door hinges the first time I was putting the doors back on. Darn, those full doors are heavy!
