I have not gotten over 13mpg for the past year so you should be happy with your Mpg's. Even in stock form neither JK Ive owned got over 18mpg.

 

My jku with rubi take offs 4:10 gears and flat freeway im at 14 and in the streets im at 12:( but i guess it's just a perk of owning a jeep(:

 

Drive over 1k miles highway this past week and I averaged about 15.5mpg on 35" MTR with 3.21 gears

 

I've got 3500 miles on my Jeep and I reset my mileage calculator at every fill-up. It's a completely stock 2012 2-door sport with a hardtop and Wrangler SR-A tires, 3.73 gears, 6-speed manual

Most of my driving right now is to/from work, mostly highway, off-peak hours. I've never seen the average MPG drop below 21, and coming from an '09 Wrangler with the 3.8 and 3.21 gears. 17-18mpg was a good tank of gas in that Jeep. I'm happier than a tornado in a trailer park about the gas mileage in the new Jeep.

 

Move to a flatter place and your mpg will improve.
