I've been watching a lot of those car restoration shows on Spike, Speed and Discovery Channel like Overhaulin and stuff. I see them putting hemi's in for their cars like its nothing-they don't cost much, given the hemis are older. Does this mean in maybe ten years or so it shouldn't cost too much for example right now its seems like around 17k to completely install one, to put the hemis people are putting in their JK's right now?
Thanks
Matt

Maybe. Add in inflation and cost of gas in ten years. $17,000 now might be $30,000 in 2021 dollars, if we still have dollars. $7/gallon of gas... Who knows. I would argue for the no side though, sorry.

not sure if they will be cheaper from a junkyard, but buying a brand new (old style) hemi crate motor will still cost in the 17,000 dollar range. i dropped a 472 hemi in my 69 charger.
