Forget about a Hemi.......... I would rather see Jeep place a Cummin's turbo Diesel (5.9L - 24valve) if you could squeeze it in and if the frame could handle it!

Installing a Cummin's Turbo Diesel (CTD) you would have endless amounts of power by placing a chip or (chips-Stacked), free flow exhaust system, bigger turbo (s) & CAI and even if you want propane injection..... a done up CTD will blow the doors off any Hemi. but with all these goodies comes a reduced longevity of the diesel life.

I happend to be at the GM office center in Detroit last week. They had a new H3 on display with a 5.3 V8. Maybe there is some hope Jeep will put a V8 in the JK. However, I would skip it if it included the $43K price tag the H3 had
The other thing that caught my eye. Sticker had stock R&P gears listed as 4.56. This H3 had a cost item listed option upgrade to 4.10's????
