Hemi

Ever is a very long time. I don't think you will see one anytime soon. JEEP may not be willing to put that much motor in a Jeep. Maybe you would like a Hemi sooner? How about going to Burnsville and pick one up. Now you can get the 6.4 Hemi if you have the cash. Bring your wallet cause this is not for the budget minded. Check out this post.

Are you planning on taking your Jeep to the dragstrip?? I figure most Jeep or JK owners really don't care about their E.T. in the 1/4 mile...Also going fast and large rocks on trails do not mix well.....

IMHO I think that would be too much motor for a wrangler. Too much h.p. and torque and things go snap crackle pop a lot easier.
I think the engine thats in it with the proper gearing will do just fine for what they are built for.
Off subject, refering to the dragstrip remark.I work with a guy that races at the local drag strip and he tells me of a guy that runs an old cj there. He says that guy spent a lot of money to make it a drag Jeep and boy is it scary as hell to watch him run. Poor old cj, it's blasphemy I say ( But I bet it's a ride you never would forget.)

Here's a vid of our clubs project Rubicon with a 6.1L Hemi in it. It sure sounds sweet. Burnsville Offroad did the install.

Actually, attitude and momentum are sometimes the only thing that can get you through a trail.........atleast over here in the east, that crawl shit doesnt work to well when you have loose dirt and smaller rocks on top of larger ones......especially when its wet. Sure you need the proper equipment to back up that kind of power, but its worth it!
