Default Help me spend $1,000

Have a grand to put towards my 2008 JKU. What should I buy? I can not put a lift or tires, out side of that I'm open to any suggestions.

I would def do bumpers front and rear and if you can find the right price maybe add on some flat fenders that's what I did first!

You could do something like the teraflex performance leveling kit and find some rubi take-off rims and tires and have about $200 left over.

just a question: how come you cannot put a lift/tires - just because of the cost?

lift - http://www.northridge4x4.com/proddet...rod=TF-1351002

Can't do a lift and tires for two reasons.

1. I only have about 1.5" room left between my roof and the bottom of my garage
2. I drive mainly hw about 50-60 a day for work, so I don't want to blow MY MPG.

ahhh, got ya... totally see the garage thing. that kinda sucks

do a TF leveling kit... that will get rid of the factory rake, and still allow for fitting in the garage. Then do some windshield pillar mount off road lights...

lift - $380 - http://www.northridge4x4.com/proddet...rod=TF-1351502

i got my off road pillar lights on ebay for less than $150 with rock guards

and you'll still have some cash for a front bumper - depending on which one you want.

For a grand....I'd buy a beater/commuter and fix #2.
Then the rest of the mods will come when you start saving on gas
