My wife has a JKU and I have the JK...it is an elegant solution. Still, I like the previous suggestion best - leave it at your girlfriend's place. Nice.

Or perhaps consider the fact that you can exploit your situation. If she is really into the JKU:

a. You'll probably get "buy in" from her to spend money on all the mods you want.

b. The JKU will be torn apart in garage and time it so that your mods are completed when you are ready to drive.

c. Will probably have to allow her a "gratuitous" solo jeep ride with her friends when you are away, however this will allow you to continue with more of (a) and (b).
