I accidentally let the drivers side door swing open all the way, and as a few people know on here it dented when the side mirror made contact with the hood piece. What did you guys do to get the dent out? Paint less dent repair? Or am I actually going to have to put this in the damn shop? Any advice is appreciated

 

Happened to mine too. It was already there when I bought it. It's smaller than a dime and didn't chip the paint.

 

More than likely a paintless dent guy can get that out. I did it to mine on one side. Won't do it again. You're like one in 1,000,000 JK owners to do the 'mirror mod' to the cab

I don't even notice it anymore

 

Open the hood and try a small rubber mallet. Figure it's already tented. All you can do is make it better. Small taps

 

Paintless dent repair person could get it out [or most of it] for a few bucks.

 

Do the passenger side the same and make it even.

I'm gonna take it by PDR in the morning, see what percentage they can get out and at what cost.
