That is an awfully high labor rate, I've got a great local shop and they charge $75

Yeah, it's expensive down here. There probably are smaller shops that charge less, but $89 seems to be the going rate. Dealers are over 100 though lol.

Mods? Yes, far more. General maintenance? No, my land rover beat out 3 of any vehicle I have ever owned. To the tune of just shy of $22k. Insane, I know.

Nope, my old CJ-7 took the prize for the most work with least reward. Wrenching on the JK is fun and enjoyable.

Wrenching and trying to maintain a CJ from the northeast was like trying to keep a dying patient alive with gatorade and aspirin...or in this case Bondo and duct tape.
