I always wanted a jeep wrangler. Had a cherokee wheeler for 6 years. When i had a chance to buy one i did. I love it and yes its has seen dirt and mountain snow many times. I have scratches and all my friends and cowokers ask why i even taken my 2011 jk offroad. Cause that's what a jeep is. If i didnt care about getting scratches i would of bought a prius! About 90% of other jeeps wave back! Plus no doors and top driving thru the country at night is beyond words to describe.

I am just trying to give the OP more confidence b/c when I got my jeep I felt the the hate from the TJ owners who hated on me for having a 4 door, non-soft top, non-half doors... and it really brothered me for a little but but I got over it... you can't make everyone happy and if you enjoy your jeep more power to you.
edit: I guess my point is... take it like an intiation.. you are new to the jeep faturinity and you are going to be dumped on for a little bit... its just a right of passage and in a few years you will get to dump on some other new members. As long as its not personal and done light heartedly its not big deal.

I've never really had anyone hate on my Jeep but I certainly have people check it out all the time. Usually it's the people in the fancy sports cars, the lifted pickup's, or motorcycles. They look at it with a longing in their eyes. Mwuahahaahhaa

Its all good, most of the people talking sh@t don't even own a Jeep, haha,I used to have a 97 with the fourbanger so I like every Jeep out there no matter if beat up or not.I'm glad I found this forum, some cool people here

All the people that bad mouth jeeps are the ones who don't know to pick out there own vehicles, meaning that they see something it looks cool to them and they got to have it. When they get it there happy with it for a little while then they no longer like it. Us jeep owners we are always talking about our jeeps and we are never getting sick of it and that makes all of them jealous and now they just say shit, talk shit, I don't care there vehicle still don't take them anywhere or everywhere you want to go.

My neighbor hates on mine but I think it's because he drives a cargo van and I had to turn his fireplace on for his wife as he didn't know how to. He's been living here for 5 years and never used it. Odd.
